After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Chamber is looking forward to the return of its major fundraiser. The fair also benefits local nonprofit organizations such as the Birmingham Family YMCA, Birmingham Youth Assistance, and Birmingham Rotary Club also receive proceeds from the fair through donations.

“We have distributed more than $100,000 to local nonprofits in past years, and we could not do this without the generous support of our sponsors and the carnival operator, North American Midway Entertainment,” Bauman said. “And we are grateful to the City of Birmingham for allowing us to use Shain Park and downtown Birmingham as the most incredible backdrop for the fair.”  Sponsors of this year’s Village Fair are Chief Financial Credit Union, Michigan United Credit Union, Academy of the Sacred Heart, Renaissance Contracting and Roofing, Andrew Smith State Farm, and Helping Hand Nursing Service.
